In this capacity, you will have the responsibility of overseeing the marketing data product owners who support email, push, and CDP platforms to ensure alignment with our roadmap and value objectives. As a leader in data strategy supporting marketing systems, you will collaborate closely with the marketing teams, facilitating ongoing improvements for Journey Orchestration and Personalization Platforms, as well as assisting in the implementation of endpoint solutions. Your sphere of influence extends across global markets, with local marketing and analytics teams relying on your expertise. Being a subject matter authority on our data, technology, and analytics stack will be essential to provide the necessary guidance and education for the marketing teams.
This role reports directly to a Director-level position and will oversee two direct reports.
Responsibility (Day to Day):

- Assist the team with backlog prioritization and grooming to maximize value for the organization.
- Provide cross-functional leadership to agile marketing squads to meet requirements (audience strategy and seasonal strategy sprints).
- Manage and develop a team of two individuals, aiding in the support and execution of the customer data strategy.
Keys to Success:
- Extensive experience with customer data and analytics products like CDP, ESPs, and Snowflake.

- Profound knowledge of the evolving data privacy and regulatory landscape.
- Exceptional collaboration skills, with demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Cultural sensitivity and prior experience working with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Self-driven with a talent for solving complex problems.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in the customer data and analytics space, ideally in the retail sector.
- 5+ years of direct experience with ESPs or CDPs, with Tealium experience considered a plus.
- 2+ years of managerial experience overseeing cross-functional teams and projects.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R is preferred.
